"My inspiration behind Orisha came from researching African gods. What they don’t know is that in the states we are not taught about our culture so it’s up to us to inform others"
YORUBA
AFRICAN ORISHAS: These are the gods & goddesses of the IFA Religion
which originated in Nigeria West Africa. Due to the slave trade the
religion spread to Brazil, Cuba, The Caribbean and several other areas
around the globe. There are over 400 Orishas and I am first and foremost
focusing on the well known deities of the Nigerian/Benin culture. In
time, if I am inspired I may also shoot a depiction of the Candomblé,
Lucumí & Santería Deities at a later date. Peace & Blessings!!!
